The Station at Bittercreek:
- The gag: all five semaphores (including train order board)
change haphazardly and independently, these are the only signals
on the railroad which should ALWAYS be ignored!
(note:
semaphore tower will actually be rotated clockwise 90 degrees)
- Two proximity sensors; in East and West ends of base sense
any movement to cue signals.
- Lights remain on in signals, signals only change aspects
at proximity sense.
- Attic is lit with 'electric inhabitants'.
- All lanterns are lit with T-3 lamps on 'electric lantern'
tracks, including walkway lighting between the restrooms and
steaming bays.
- Station announcements and teletype are free running, random.
- Announcements are mostly garbled and unintelligible, riddled
with mic handling, breath noise and pops, feedback, electrical
noise, hums and buzzes, etc. (everything that can be wrong with
sound:)
- There will be random snoring in the station.
- A distributed environmentals soundtrack will surround the
station, and will be distributed in the cedar forest around the
station.
- Weather vane turns randomly.
- All station lighting will appear to be from lantern or fire
sources (pot bellied stove), visible and interior.
